It has been said that a nation is only as good as its
protections for its children. If this is so, the USA has become utterly
discredited as a nation. We have become the global marketers of pornography,
abortion, and now sex-trafficking. Recently, one Chinese observer commented
that 80% of the Chinese report satisfaction with their present un-democratic
dictatorial regime. Why? They see the degraded condition of the West, especially
the USA, and they, therefore, reject our way of life in favor of their own.
Sounds reasonable, right? This principle also serves to further justify Islam’s
thrust to undermine the West. We have lost the moral high-ground and are no
longer a shining example, as shown here:
·
The Department of Defense has characterized
human trafficking as the second-most profitable and fastest-growing criminal
enterprise with a child being sold and commercially raped every 30 seconds.
Last year, human sex traffickers made an estimated $99 billion tax-free. United
States citizens are the biggest consumers of child pornography.

An immoral nation quickly surrenders its voice and whatever
positive influence it might have had. In the eyes of the world, the USA has
become the greatest consumer of trafficked children, largely fueled by child
porn, and little is being done to stop it. Here are some global statistics I’ve
found followed by some pertaining to the USA.
In 2012 the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime
reported:
·
Gender and age profile of victims detected globally:
59% Women - 14% Men - 17% Girls and 10% were Boys.
·
600,000 to 800,000 women, children and men
bought and sold across international borders every year and exploited for
forced labor or commercial sex (U.S. Government)
·
When internal trafficking victims are added to
the estimates, the number of victims annually is in the range of 2 to 4 million
·
50% of those victims are estimated to be
children
·
It is estimated that 76 percent of transactions
for sex with underage girls start on the Internet
·
2 million children are subjected to prostitution
in the global commercial sex trade (UNICEF) [Estimates suggest that,
internationally, only about .04% survivors of human trafficking cases are
identified, meaning that the vast majority of cases of human trafficking go undetected,
http://www.caseact.org/learn/humantrafficking
]
·
There are 20.9 Million victims of Trafficking
World wide as of 2012. 1.5 Million victims in the United States.
·
A $32 billion-a-year industry, human trafficking
is on the rise and is in all 50 states (U.S. Government)
·
4.5 Million of trafficked persons are sexually
exploited
·
Up to 300,000 Americans under 18 are lured into
the commercial sex trade every year. [Since many sex slaves have been so
shamed, few register complaints. Consequently, some surmise that the number
might be in the millions.]
·
From 14,500 - 17,500 of those victims are
trafficked into the United States each year. [However in July 31, 2019 https://aspe.hhs.gov/report/human-trafficking-and-within-united-states-review-literature#Trafficking
the number had grown to 50,000]
In an interview on “Life, Liberty, and Levin,” Jaco Booyens,
the founder of sharetogethernow.org, estimated that the number of youth
presently being trafficked in the USA might be in the millions, since few are
willing or able to come forward to report the abuse.
According to non-governmental U.S. sources;
·
The United States, along with Mexico and the
Philippines, was ranked one of the world's worst places for human trafficking
in 2018. In the US, there is no official number of human trafficking victims,
but estimates place it in the hundreds of thousands. https://www.businessinsider.com/human-trafficking-in-the-us-facts-statistics-2019-7#children-are-more-vulnerable-than-adults-theyre-easier-to-control-cheaper-and-less-likely-to-demand-working-conditions-researchers-explained-more-than-300000-young-people-in-the-us-are-considered-at-risk-of-sexual-exploitation-7
·
Children raised in foster care have a greater
chance of becoming victims. In 2013, 60% of child victims the FBI recovered
were from foster care. In 2017, 14% of children reported missing were likely victims
of sex trafficking, and 88% of those had been in child welfare, the National
Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported. (Business Insider)
·
In 2016, after US Immigration and Customs
arrested 2,000 human traffickers and identified 400 victims, airlines started
training staff to spot signs of human traffickers. Some of the signs that
someone is a victim are not being in control of their own boarding pass or
money and if they seem "disoriented and lost." (Business Insider)
·
Average age a victim enters trafficking is 11 to
14 years old
·
Approx 80% are women and children bought, sold
and imprisoned in the underground sex service industry
·
Average life span of a victim is reported to be
7 years (found dead from attack, abuse, HIV and other STD's, malnutrition,
overdose or suicide)
·
…the number of children trafficked in the United
States is actually much higher than 300,000. (All of the above stats are
available at unless otherwise indicated https://arkofhopeforchildren.org/child-trafficking/child-trafficking-statistics)
Sadly, little is being done to bring this nightmare into
national consciousness. According to Booyens, the mainstream media, with the
exception of FOX, has not been at all responsive to his input. He is also
mystified by the silence of the groups that should be most responsive, namely
the feminist groups. He, therefore, is pushing for an enlightened public, who
can apply pressure to centers of power and influence.
