PEACE MUST BE PURSUED THROUGH LEGAL CHANNELS

What happens when respect for one’s nation disintegrates? So does voluntary supportive involvement! What happens when justice is no longer equally enforced? The people despair and retreat into their own enclaves. Others take the law into their own hands. It is when people feel safe and valued that they will reach out to their neighbors and community.

What brings about positive social change? According to Harvard’s Robert Putnam, the answer is not material but “social capital,” – the willingness of people to join their energies together for the common good:

  • Putnam has been described as the most influential academic in the world today…He has been the focus of seminars hosted by Bill Clinton at Camp David and Tony Blair at 10 Downing Street. His ideas have popped up in speeches by George W. Bush and William Hague.

Putnam became alarmed by indications of serious social decay. For instance,

  • “When I was growing up in the 1950s and 1960s, 75 percent of Americans said that they trusted their government to do the right thing. Last year [1999], same survey, same question, it was 19 percent…what worried me as an American citizen -- namely, the sense that our national experiment in democratic self- government is faltering.”

Putnam observed:

  • “A broad and continuing erosion of civic engagement that began a quarter-century ago. High on our scholarly agenda should be the question of whether a comparable erosion of social capital may be under way in other advanced democracies, perhaps in different institutional and behavioral guises. High on America's agenda should be the question of how to reverse these adverse trends in social connectedness, thus restoring civic engagement and civic trust.” https://infed.org/robert-putnam-social-capital-and-civic-community/

Justice must be done if faith in the system is to be preserved! The power of the vote is the only thing left that separates this nation from absolute tyranny. If this cherished institution cannot be guaranteed, the downward slide, which Putnam has illustrated, will hit bottom. Even now, many are talking about revolution. These levels of hatred and distrust have not been seen since the Civil War. Sadly, many are talking now about another civil war. Our only option is the restoration of trust.

How? The many indications of systemic voter fraud must be fully investigated. This seems to be the only way to safeguard our nation. If you share my concern, it is important that you let your voice be heard now, before 1/6/2021:
